Motorola has started launching the new Moto G series smartphones in India. The Lenovo-backed brand introduced the Moto G31 earlier as a new budget 5G smartphone. Now, another affordable 5G handset from this series dubbed the Moto G51 5G has gone official in the Indian market. The latest offering comes equipped with the Snapdragon 480 Plus SoC and a 50MP triple camera setup. Let’s have a look at the features offered by the Moto G51 5G and its pricing details in India:
Moto G51 5G Complete Hardware, Software Details
The Moto G51 5G has arrived in India with the same Snapdragon 480 Plus SoC as the Moto G31. Notably, the latter came as the first handset to feature this new octa-core Qualcomm budget 5G processor. The Moto G51 5G is announced with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration. It also supports an expandable microSD card to suffice additional storage requirements.
The Moto G51 5G has been packed with a 6.8-inch Max Vision display which supports 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ resolution. The display also supports a 20:9 aspect ratio and a higher 120Hz refresh rate. It has a punch-hole cutout placed at the center-top of the display housing a 13MP snapper for selfies. This lens has an f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto G51 5G primary optics (at rear) is handled by three cameras. The main camera is a 50MP lens that has an f/1.8 aperture and is combined with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The device will ship with Android 11 out-of-the-box and have My UX skin on top.
The Moto G51 5G’s connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, single-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device makes use of a massive 5,000 mAh battery which is aided by 20W Rapid charging tech for quick refuels.

Motorola has launched the Moto G51 5G with a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration in India. This handset is priced at Rs. 14,999 in the country and will be available in Aqua Blue and Indigo Blue colors. The Moto G51 5G’s official sale starts on December 16 in India via Flipkart.
