Poco is all set to launch its first-ever TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds “Poco Pods.” These earbuds are expected to be launched on July 29 and have already gained attention as some reports suggest that they might be similar to Redmi Buds 4 Active.

Poco has officially confirmed that the launch event for the Poco Pods will take place at 12 pm on July 29. The company has been keeping the audience excited by releasing posters and teasers ahead of the launch.

The Poco Pods come with a stylish dual-tone design, featuring a black charging case with a vibrant yellow inner portion. The earbuds themselves are black, but their eartip area is accentuated in yellow.
Additionally, the Poco Pods will boast 12mm extra bass drivers for great sound quality. The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.3 and support Google Fast Pair.

With up to 30 hours of playback time and fast charging, just 10 minutes of charging gives 90 minutes of playback. The earbuds comes with low latency of up to 60ms, and the earbuds are sweat and splash resistant with an IPX4 rating. These earbuds are also has noise cancellation and touch controls for music, calls, and activating the game mode.

Is It Rebranded Redmi Buds 4 Active?
Some reports says that the Poco Pods could be the same as the Redmi Buds 4 Active, which costs Rs 1,399 in India. They both seem to have similar features and price, which has made some wonder if they are just rebranded versions.
The Redmi Buds 4 Active boasts 12mm audio drivers, and each earbud has a 34mAh battery, while the charging case holds a 440mAh battery. Additionally, it comes with features like fast charging, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C port, touch controls, and IPX4 water resistance.
But we don’t know for sure if this similarity will make a difference in how much people like the Poco Pods until they are released and reviewed.

Poco Pods TWS Earbuds: Price, Availability
The Poco Pods are slated to be priced at Rs 1,199, making them an incredibly competitive choice in the TWS earbuds market. The product will be available exclusively available on Flipkart after July 29.
