Here’s Why Popular Smartphones Are Unavailable In India

Even though the smartphone market is growing fast in India, several smartphone makers are not bringing or launching their few devices. Notably, these devices are available internationally but not in our country.

These devices might be costlier or not the perfect fit for the Indian market, which is why these devices are not available in India. So, to give you a better idea, we are listing all those smartphones that are not available in the country.

OnePlus Nord N200 5G

Let’s start with OnePlus Nord N200 5G smartphone, which is only available in North America. For the uninitiated, the OnePlus Nord N200 5G is priced at $240, which is close to Rs. 17,605 approx and it is available in Blue Quantum colour option.

The OnePlus N200 5G comes with a 6.49-inch touchscreen display, 405 pixels per inch (PPI), 1080×2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9, Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, 4GB of RAM, runs Android 11 OS, 5,000mAh battery, and it supports proprietary fast charging.

It is worth noting that all Nord devices have not been launched in India like the OnePlus N100 available in North America and OnePlus Nord N10 5G.

Google Pixel 6 And 6 Pro

Google has launched two Pixel 6 and 6 Pro last year in the international market. The devices have been launched with Android 12 OS. These smartphones are already available in the international markets, but not in India.

The company said that supply and global demand issues are the reason for not launching devices in the country. It is important to note that the Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G are not available in the country.

Both devices are powered by the Google Tensor processor and come with a 5G SA/NSA and have a Titan M2 Security chip. In addition, the company confirmed that both devices will get security updates for at least five years.

Oppo Find X3 Pro

The Oppo Find X3 Pro is also not available in India, despite the fact Find X2 Pro device is already available in the country. For the unaware, the company launched the Find X3 Neo, the Find X3 Lite, and the Find X3 in March 2021.

However, there is no update on the Indian launch. The device features a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display along with a 5Hz-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. There is also a Snapdragon 888 processor, 4500mAh battery, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 50MP primary camera, and a 2MP front camera.

Mi MIX Fold

The Mi MIX Fold is the company’s first foldable phone, which was launched last year. The device was launched with all the top features and specifications; however, it is not available in the Indian market.

The smartphone features an 8.01-inch touchscreen as the primary display 6.50-inch touchscreen as a second display. Besides, the device comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 12GB of RAM, runs Android 10 OS, 5,020mAh battery, and supports proprietary fast charging.

Huawei And Honor

It is worth noting that Huawei and Honor smartphones are not available in India. But still, both companies are launching devices in other parts of the world. Let’s talk about Huawei foldable phone, which was launched last year on December 23. The Huawei P50 Pocket features a 6.90-inch touchscreen primary display and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

There is also a 1.04-inch touchscreen on the second display. Besides, there is an 8GB of RAM and it runs Harmony OS, and it is powered by the 4,000mAh battery inside.
