After launching Xiaomi Pad 5 in India, the company is planning to bring another tablet under its Redmi brand. The Redmi Pad 5 is expected to launch soon in the Indian market. Notably, the new update comes after tipster Mukul Sharma claims that the company is working on the affordable tablet Redmi Pad 5.
It is worth noting that Sharma only suggested the launch; however, the company has not made any announcement on the exact launch date. On the other hand, the details of the Pad have been revealed by ITHome’s report. Earlier, it was reported that the tablet will be available in April 2022. The tablet is expected to have a 30W ultra-fast charging solution and Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. In addition, the chipset supports dual 5G mode, SA, and NSA. Besides, there is a 90Hz refresh rate display; however, the display size and resolution have been not listed on the platform.
Moreover, the Redmi Pad 5 comes with an ultra-linear quad-speaker setup, similar to Xiaomi Pad 5. Besides, the tablet will have the latest UI along with MIUI PadOS 13 out of the box and a Sony Al extension of 4,800W.
Redmi Pad 5: Expected Price
The Redmi Pad 5 might cost you around CNY 1,999, which is close to Rs. 23,200. The report also said that the Realme Pad 5 will have similar features as the Xiaomi Pad 5. For the unaware, the Xiaomi Pad 5 is priced at Rs. 26,999 for the base variant. It is worth noting that currently, the entire details or specifications are not known; however, we expect that soon details of the upcoming laptop will surface online.
