Techno is emerging as a popular smartphone brand in the budget segment. The company has added several new devices to the Camon and Spark series dedicated to the affordable audience. The Transsion Holdings-backed brand has expanded its portfolio once again with the launch of a new handset in the Spark series. Following the launch of the Tecno Spark 8 earlier this month, the company has now introduced the Spark 8 Pro. The latest offering brings an FHD+ display and 48MP triple-rear cameras.
Tecno Spark 8 Pro Complete Specifications, Features
The Tecno Spark 8 Pro’s key set of features include the Helio G85 octa-core processor. This is a major upgrade over the standard Tecno Spark 8 which is driven by the Helio G25 SoC. The octa-core processor is aided by Mali-G52 GPU and upto 6GB RAM configuration. The device has been announced with a native storage capacity of 64GB.
The unit also has an external microSD card support that will suffice the additional storage requirements. Tecno has equipped the Spark 8 Pro with a massive 6.8-inch Dot display. It is an IPS LCD panel that supports 1080p FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole camera cutout (placed at the center).
In terms of photography, the Tecno Spark 8 Pro has been packed with a triple-lens setup at the back (vertically aligned on the upper left corner) and a single camera upfront. The rear panel features a 48MP main sensor. The remaining two sensors are unspecified at the moment. The rear panel’s dual-tone design gives it a slightly different appeal than most of the budget smartphones in the market.
In terms of connectivity, the Tecno Spark 8 Pro has been launched with standard 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will boot an Android 11 OS with a custom skin on top. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The device features a 5,000 mAh battery aided by 33W fast charging.
Tecno Spark 8 Pro Price, Availability Details
The Tecno Spark 8 Pro has been launched in a single 6GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration in Bangladesh. The price is set at 16,990 Bangladeshi Taka which is somewhere around Rs. 14,700 as per Indian currency. The color options announced are Komodo Island and Interstellar Black. Tecno is yet to announce the Spark 8 Pro launch timeline for the Indian market.
