Samsung Galaxy A series is getting revamped soon and as many as three upcoming models in this lineup have been making appearances online. The Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, and the Galaxy A54 5G will be joining this budget Android smartphone lineup from Samsung next year. All these phones have started getting certified via different mobile authentication websites including the latest Bluetooth SIG. Here are all developments we know about the next-gen Galaxy A series phones.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, Galaxy A54 5G Bluetooth SIG Certified Ahead Of Launch

As mentioned above, all three models including the Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, and the Galaxy A54 5G have bagged Bluetooth SIG certification. These upcoming Galaxy A series phones have been listed on the certification website. The Galaxy A14 5G has been listed with the SM-A146U, SM-S146VL, SM-A146U1-DS, SM-A146W, SM-A146U, SM-A14P, SM-A146P-N, and SM146P-DSN model numbers. The certification website also reveals the model numbers of the standard Galaxy S14 4G model SM-A145P_DS and SM_A145R_DSN.

The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G has been spotted with the SM-A346B_DSN model number, while the Galaxy A54 5G has been listed with the SM-A546V model number on the Bluetooth SIG platform. Only the Bluetooth support on the upcoming Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, and the Galaxy A54 5G has been confirmed by the Bluetooth SIG database. Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, Galaxy A54 5G Leaked Specifications

According to the leaks including the exclusive that Giznext shared, the Samsung Galaxy A14 and the Galaxy A34 will be launched with an Infinity U display measuring 6.4 inches and 6.5 inches respectively. On the other hand, the Galaxy A54 5G will flaunt an Infinity O display that will measure 6.4 inches in size. All three phones in the upcoming Galaxy A series lineup will be launched with a triple-lens camera module.

The exact camera specifications are unknown. The same is the case with the selfie camera and the chipset details. We are not sure which of the upcoming Galaxy A series models will feature a Qualcomm processor and which one will be powered by the MediaTek chipset. Not much is known related to the battery specifications but fast charging support is expected on all three models.

As far as the launch timeline is concerned, all three phones in the Galaxy A series including the Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, and the Galaxy A54 5G will likely be available for sale starting in 2023 in India and the global regions.

The Honor Pad V8 Pro’s latest set of leaked specifications has been tipped by the Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station. The latest leak also hints the same Dimensity 8100 octa-core chipset which other leaks have also hinted at all this while. While the Honor Pad V8 Pro’s processor details have been out for a while, the RAM and storage configurations were at large until now. However, the fresh leak suggests dual RAM options including 8GB and 12GB.

Storage capacity is unspecified yet, but we can now expect at least 128GB of built-in capacity. The display details leaked by Digital Chat Station corroborate with the information shared by past leaks. The display panel type is not confirmed but the size would be 12.41 inches. The Honor Pad V8 Pro display will deliver a 1600 x 2560 pixels screen resolution and a whopping 144Hz refresh rate.

It would be the first premium range Android tablet from Honor to offer such a high refresh rate. With this, the Honor Pad V8 Pro will be potent for extensive gaming and also binge-watching shows and movies.

Unfortunately, this latest leak doesn’t lift the mystery around the Pad V8 Pro’s camera specifications. However, rumors are rife that the rear panel will feature a 50MP main camera. A dual-lens camera module has been revealed in the renders. So, we might see an additional portrait sensor too at the rear. According to the brand, this electric scooter will take around 5 hours and 30 minutes for a full recharge (0 to 100 percent). The BGauss BG electric scooter will offer dual riding modes including Eco and Sport. The battery pack will be removable which will allow easy swapping if you have got extra set of batteries.

The BGauss BG D15 electric scooter is capable of delivering an approximate travel range of 115 Km on a single charge. This electric scooter can reach a top speed of up to 60 Kmph. Furthermore, within 7 seconds the BH D15 electric scooter can reach from zero to 40 Kmph which is a decent speed for quick acceleration. Notably, this can only be achieved with the Sports mode and not the standard Eco driving mode.

The Honor Pad V8 will be amongst the first lot of mobile tablets that will run on the powerful Dimensity 8100 processor fabricated using a 6nm TSMC process. The octa-core chipset comes as one of the strongest contenders against the Snapdragon 888 processor. The Honor Pad V8’s flagship MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset will feature Mali-G610 GPU support for graphics.

With this MediaTek 5G processor, the Honor Pad 8 will not only be suitable for basic and multitasking but also extensive gaming. It will ship with the MagicOS 7.0 firmware. It’s the display that will see a major upgrade with the Honor Pad V8. As per the leaks, this would be amongst the world’s first tablets that will come with an IMAX-Enhanced-certified display with a 144Hz refresh rate.  

Honor has reportedly also added a natural eye care protection technology on this tablet. That’s not it, the Honor Pad V8’s screen will measure 12.1 inches and support 2.5K resolution making it apt for both high-res video playback and gaming.

Optics details are at large, but the exact specification could be tipped right ahead of the launch. Nevertheless, the leaked and teased renders of the Honor Pad V8 hint a dual rear camera module. The rumor mill has also revealed a 33W fast charging technology but the exact battery specs remain unspecified.

Dimensity 1080 is the newest mobile processor from MediaTek which has specifically developed for premium mid-tier Android phones and tablets. This new octa-core 5G chipset is expected to be the powerhouse for some of the popular smartphones. In fact, we might see multiple renowned smartphone and tablet OEMs sourcing this new MediaTek processor in the coming years.

Until now, Qualcomm had a stronger grip in this league with its capable Snapdragon 700 series mobile processors. While the brand has released a new-gen Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile chipset for high-end mid-tier Android phones, the Snapdragon 778G is still one of those chipsets that most of the brands bet on. An octa-core cluster design has been used for the Dimensity 1080 and the Snapdragon 778G mobile processors. The fabrication process is also the same, i.e., 6nm TSMC. However, the core clusters are different on both of these mobile processors. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G ships with a single 2.4GHz Cortex-A78 core, three Cortex-A78 2.2GHz cores, and four Cortex-A55 cores with 1.9GHz clock speed.

The MediaTek Dimensity uses two Cortex-A78 cores with 2.6GHz clock speed and six Cortex-A55 cores with 2GHz clock speed. The frequency range is 2400MHz delivered by the SD 778G and 2600MHz with the Dimensity 1080. Only a minute difference between both these chipsets feature in terms of CPU performance.

Snapdragon 778G Vs Dimensity 1080 Chipset: GPU

The Snapdragon 778G chipset comes packed with Adreno 642L GPU that can operate with around 490Mhz GPU frequency using two execution and 384 shading units. The Dimensity 1080 processor employs a Mali GPU, Mali-G68 MC4 GPU to be precise which has four execution and 64 shading units. The Vukan, OpenCL, and DirectX versions offered by both SD778G and the Dimensity 1080 SoC are 1.1, 2.0, and 12 respectively. Just like the CPU, the GPU performance is also equivalent on these mobile processors.

Snapdragon 778G Vs MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC: Memory, Multimedia (ISP)

Qualcomm and MediaTek both have used an LPDDR5 memory type for the Snapdragon 778G and the Dimensity 1080 SoC respectively. The memory frequency that both the premium mid-tier Android phones offer is 3200MHz. So, expect an equivalent multitasking experience on both of these chipsets. Also, a 16GB maximum memory type can be accommodated by the Snapdragon 778G and the Dimensity 1080 processor.

The storage type compatible with the Snapdragon 778G is UFS 2.1, UFS 2.2, UFS 3.0, and UFS 3.1. Whereas, only UFS 2.2 and UFS 3.1 storage type is supported by the Dimensity 1080 chipset When we speak of multimedia aspects, the SD 778G comes with a maximum display and camera resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and 192MP respectively. The Dimensity 1080 chipset offers better camera support by integrating up to 200MP maximum camera resolution support. Video recording and playback compatibility is 4K@30fps with both these chipsets.

WhatsApp ‘Accidental Delete’ feature as mentioned above allows users to undo any deleted messages that users have removed for everyone. The brand has confirmed this new messaging feature for both Android and iPhone users. With this option in place, users will be able to retrieve the deleted messages they have deleted for anyone and just for themselves.

The new feature is being rolled out as an OTA ad you will need to have the latest version of WhatsApp in order to use the ‘Accidental Delete” message. If you don’t see this feature yet on your phone’s WhatsApp app, then try manually updating via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

How To Use Accidental Delete Feature On WhatsApp And Retrieve Messages

Step 1: Open WhatsApp application first on your respective Android and iOS handsets.

Step 2: Go to the chat window from where you wish to retrieve the deleted messages. Note that you can only recover those messages that were accidentally deleted recently. If the messages are older than a day or two, you might not get the option to recover it.

Step 3: Once any message is deleted, you will get the “Undo” option.

Step 4: Once you tap on the Undo option, the deleted message will be restored in the chat window.
