In China, Vivo has expanded the Y-series lineup of smartphones with the addition of the Vivo Y35 5G. It follows the August 2022 debut of the Vivo Y35 4G smartphone. The 6.51-inch LCD screen on the Vivo Y35 5G has HD+ resolution, 269ppi pixel density, and a 60Hz refresh rate, which is a decrease from the Full HD+ and 90Hz screens on the Vivo Y35 4G. The Vivo Y35 5G also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone connector, a USB Type-C port, and 5G dual SIM, among other notable features. A 5000mAh battery within the smartphone, together with 15W rapid charging capabilities, powers it. It is powered on OriginOS Ocean, a skin for Android 13 in China.

Starting at CNY 1199 (about Rs. 14,200) for the 4GB RAM+128GB storage option, the Vivo Y35 5G may be purchased for as much as CNY 1 499 (roughly Rs. 17,800). It is available in gold, blue, and black colour schemes. The company hasn’t yet disclosed its plans to introduce it in India.
