Reliance Jio has announced that its latest prepaid recharge plans will be available for purchase from March 24. The plans come with free data vouchers and can be availed by new and existing customers of Jio.
With the upcoming season of IPL set to go live on Jio Cinema from March 31st in 4K resolution, Jio has introduced these plans to ensure uninterrupted streaming of the matches. Previously, IPL matches were streamed on Hotstar, but Jio Cinema will now be the go-to platform for cricket enthusiasts.

Priced at Rs 219, Rs 399, and Rs 999, these plans give 14 days, 28 days, and 84 days of validity, respectively. These plans give access to Jio’s True5G service, which is currently free, and are available to both new and existing subscribers.
The Rs 219 plan is accompanied by a free voucher of Rs 25 with an additional 2GB data, while the Rs 399 plan offers a voucher of Rs 61 with 6GB additional data. The Rs 999 plan offers the biggest bonus of all – a Rs 241 voucher that adds an extra 40GB of data to the user’s pack.

The data add-on plans are available in three denominations – Rs 222, Rs 444, and Rs 667. The Rs 222 plan has a validity of the base plan and offers 50GB of additional data. The Rs 444 plan adds an additional 100GB of data to the user’s base plan and has a validity of 60 days. The Rs 667 plan is the most generous of them all, offering a whopping 150GB of additional data and a validity of 90 days. These plans have the same validity as the user’s base plan, and are designed to provide users with extra data in case they need it while streaming the IPL 2023 matches.

The short teaser video shared by Aggarwal on Twiiter shows the Gerua color variant of the Ola S1 Pro. The video shows a new tech addition to the handlebar which likely is the ADAS security feature. The video shows the Ola S1 Pro’s additional equipment equivalent size as an action camera. Looking closely at the vide, the “Don’t Put Pressure” label can be read on the additional equipment.
However, it is uncertain if the equipment is indeed an action camera or something else. Nevertheless, the video does show a camera accommodated just above the MID. This could be one of the camera sensors which the Ola S1 Pro would need for the ADAS and Adaptive Cruise control features to work efficiently. The new-generation Ola S1 Pro with ADAS is also said to come with Pedestrian Detection and collision avoidance features.
It appears that Ola is planning to bring an advanced version of the S1 Pro electric scooter and capture the premium segment. As of now, ADAS tech is majorly limited to high-end cars such as MG Hector, Tata Harrier, and Mahindra XUV 700.

A May 2022 NPCI circular states that transactions with a value of Rs 200 or less make up 50% of all UPI transactions nationwide. Unfortunately, even with a small volume of transactions, the UPI system becomes overloaded, which increases the volume of interactions between banks and frequently results in payments getting stuck. UPI requires consumers to add pins and wait for the bank to start payments, which adds to the overall processing time. With UPI Lite users are able to start low-value transactions immediately from a digital wallet using this functionality without having to input their UPI pin.
Using UPI Lite is equivalent to using a wallet. Simply enable UPI Lite in one of the apps that is compatible with it and add money (up to Rs 2000) using your UPI account. You can scan any QR code or enter a phone number to pay an amount under Rs 200 without a PIN once the funds have been credited to your wallet.
The main distinction between conventional wallets and UPI Lite wallets is that money will be transmitted directly to the user’s UPI account. This is done to lessen the pressure on the CBS (Central Banking System) of banks during periods of heavy UPI usage, which can be used for high-value transactions.
