Our Make-in-India hopes for a domestic mobile operating system could be coming to life. According to officials, “BharOS” has been developed by a company that was incubated by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, and it can be installed on commercial off-the-shelf handsets.

JandK Operations Private Limited, which was housed in IIT Madras, created BharOS. Currently, enterprises with stringent privacy and security needs are receiving the operating software. According to a press release, it is perfect for those who deal with sensitive information. BharOS: What Does It Offer?

This mobile operating system’s advantage is that it comes with No Default Apps (NDA). This simply means that, unlike Android, users will have access to the majority of the storage capacity. Along with some native apps, the OEMs include some Google apps by default with the phones. One won’t be compelled to use apps they may not be familiar with or that they may not trust if they use BharOS.

Similar to Android phones, one will be able to get “Native Over The Air” (NOTA) upgrades. According to the creators, NOTA updates are downloaded and installed on the device without the need for user intervention.

How then can users download apps? Instead of using a company-run marketplace, Ayyar claims that BharOS provides access to reliable software from organization-specific Private App Store Services (PASS).

In addition, the operating system also provides access to trusted apps through company-specific Private App Store Services (PASS). “PASS provides access to a curated list of apps that have been thoroughly vetted and meet specific security and privacy standards set by the organization. It means users can rest assured that it is available and screened for potential security vulnerabilities and privacy issues,” the developers said.

Twitter Blue Subscription: Features

The blue tick mark next to the profile name is added by the Twitter Blue subscription which also unlocks a number of helpful functions. First off, it contains “undo” tweets which allow users to take back tweets that have already been sent. Users should be aware that it is not an edit button and only allows users to quickly revise a tweet after sending it.

Additionally, users can submit videos up to 2GB in size (1080p) and longer than 60 minutes with the Blue membership. Moreover, it prioritizes your replies to Tweets that you interact with.

The Blue membership also offers a reader, personalized app icons, themes, top articles, and bookmark folders. Twitter claims that not all features are accessible across all platforms, though. In addition, Twitter Blue subscriptions cannot be made for 90 days on newly created Twitter accounts.

Twitter Blue Subscription: Price And Availability

While the annual subscription fee for Twitter Blue for web users is $84, the monthly fee is $8. For Android signups, Twitter is adding a $3 surcharge to cover Google’s commission. Users who pay with iOS are also affected by this.

In the US and a few other countries, you can subscribe to Twitter Blue annually at a reduced price. According to recent sources, a Twitter Blue subscription for iOS users will cost Rs. 999, while the pricing for Android users has not yet been made public. We might assume that India’s plans will soon be announced in more detail.

The Twitter Blue membership was initially made available to iOS and web users; it is not yet accessible in India. Users from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan are the only countries that can use the service. It should shortly be introduced in India.

A Chinese blogger has leaked the images of the Xiaomi EV called Modena being tested out in the wild. The first Xiaomi electric car has been spotted being tested in China. The reports suggest Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun was also present at the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region where the Modena EV was being tested. The leaked images of the test mule indicate Xiaomi is doing the test runs to check the capabilities of its first electric car driving capabilities in harsh conditions (winters in this case).

The leaked images confirmed the Xiaomi electric EV will be launched as an electric sedan car. However, the exact look couldn’t be confirmed due to heavy camouflaging. But it does confirm a sloped roof and elongated bonnet design. Nevertheless, Xiaomi could be testing the battery endurance of its first electric car in snow. Chances are we get to see some more test mule images in different environmental scenarios going forward.

Rumors are rife that Xiaomi will be launching its first-ever electric car globally in 2025. The fact that the consistency of the leaks is rapidly increasing is a clear indication that the launch is imminent. Previous rumors including the last one suggested Xiaomi Modena electric car will be launched in two different models EV 400V and EV 800V.

Xiaomi is likely using a BYD LifePO4 battery setup on the 400V EV and CATL Kirin battery setup on the 800V EV. Riding range and powertrain details are at large, but that too could be revealed soon.

Just for reference, images sent via WhatsApp currently get compressed to save data consumption. The three options which users get at this point includes “Automatic”, “Best quality”, and “Data Saver”. The option to send images in original quality is yet to be released.

The report shared by WABetaInfo further suggests the feature is being tested with the Android 2.23.2.11 beta version. WhatsApp is yet to reveal how soon the Original image quality option will be added to the Android and iOS apps. But since this feature has entered the testing phase, it could make it to the eligible devices as an OTA update.

How To Send High-Quality WhatsApp Images Directly?

As per the leaked screenshots, the option for photo quality will be added to the toolbar in the chat window. This will be placed alongside the share media option besides contacts and other drawing tools. This further suggests that the option to send images in original or high quality can’t be set to default.

 One would have to change and use the apt settings every single time. We are still waiting for some word from WhatsApp that will confirm the development of this highly anticipated image sending feature and its availability. Nevertheless, it shouldn’t be long before some information on the same is released by the brand.

Step 1: Open Google Chrome and go to the “www.google.com” website.

Step 2: Now, search for “Google account” and sign/log in to your account.

Step 3: A new page will appear. There, select “Data and Privacy” by clicking on three horizontal lines in the top left corner.

Step 4: Under the “History Settings” section, select “Web and App Activity” > “Manage All web & app activity”.

Step 5: Now pick “Other Google Activity” by tapping the vertical three-line menu on the search bar.

Step 6: Select “Manage Activity” from the Google Pay experience option.

If in case you are the owner the image of the house or building uploaded on Google Maps then you can either delete or reupload the blurred image. However, it someone else is the owner, you will have to perform different set of steps.

Step 1: For your own images, open Google Maps on laptop/ PC. Note, smartphone app can’t be used to blur house on Google Maps.

Step 2: Tap on the Menu option (three horizontal lines).

Step 3: Click on Your contribution option and select Photos.

Step 4: Locate the photo you want to delete and clock on More.

Step 5: Tap on Delete this photo.

Qualcomm and MediaTek have been competing quite actively for the past few years in the mobile chipset market. The former is taking on the latter with its single Snapdragon mobile chipset lineup compared to the Helio A, Helio P, Helio G, and Dimensity mobile chipsets from the latter. Both brands have proactively released several new ranges of 5G processors for all ranges of Android smartphones. If we speak of the recent releases, the Snapdragon 782G from Qualcomm and Dimensity 920 from MediaTek have been launched for the premium mid-range handsets. Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G Vs Dimensity 920 Processor: CPU Comparison

An octa-core CPU cluster has been used for both Snapdragon 782G and the Dimensity 920 processor. The former has a single Cortex-A78 core with 2.7GHz clock speed, three Cortex-A78 core with 2.2GHz clock speed, and four 1.9GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Whereas, the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset has dual Cortex-A78 cores with 2.5GHz clock speed and six Cortex-A55 cores with 2GHz clock speed.

The frequency range is 2700MHz and 2500MHz delivered by the former and latter respectively.
